The Ministry of Foreign Affairs present their

compliments to H.B.. mbassy d, with reference to the

#inistry's memorandum No. #ai (37) Ou I 04415 of 25th February

1948 regarding the interest on the Canton-Kowloon Railway Loan,

have the honour to state that a reply has been received from

the competent authorities stating that the question of the

repayment of various external loans is now being discussed

and dealt with in concert with the various organisations

concerned

The above is a preliminary reply for the Embassy's

information.
